Liposuction

Home Face Breast Esthetics

At our AKESO POLICLINIC we offer the desired procedure, which is liposuction or liposuction. During liposuction, subcutaneous fat is removed even from areas where you were previously unable to do so, despite exercise or a good lifestyle. You will see results very soon after treatment.

Liposuction

Liposuction is an ideal solution for individuals who have not been able to reduce body weight and eliminate fatty tissue from problem areas, especially the abdomen, hips or thighs. It can be performed on many parts of the body to varying degrees. The effects of liposuction are permanent and leave almost invisible scars as it is performed with a very thin cannula. The price includes surgery, hospitalisation and compression devices.

Liposuction

Liposuction removes areas of unwanted fat using tubing and a vacuum device. Liposuction techniques, including tumescent or superwet, are typically performed after the targeted fat cells are infused with a saline solution containing a local anesthetic and epinephrine to reduce blood loss.

The benefits of this liposuction technique include increased safety, easier fat removal, and reduced post-operative discomfort. It also reduces postoperative bruising and swelling.

The most common sites for liposuction are the chin, cheeks, neck and upper arms, the area above the breasts, abdomen, buttocks, hips, thighs, knees, calves and ankles.

There are several commonly used techniques, including the "traditional technique", the "laser technique" and the "ultrasound technique". The traditional technique uses a hollow tube to remove the fat, and the laser and ultrasound techniques use laser or ultrasound energy to dissolve the fat before it is removed. Your physician will consult with you and recommend the method that is appropriate for you.

Procedure

The length of the procedure is usually one to two hours. This is an outpatient procedure. General anesthesia may be used or intravenous sedation and local anesthesia may be used.

Recovery

The patient usually returns to work after five to 14 days. More strenuous activity may be resumed after two to four weeks. Full recovery from swelling and bruising may take one to six months, depending on the amount of fat removed and the areas that were treated.
